ECORASTER substructure - preparation for optimum stability

The correct base for your ECORASTER System.

Follow these recommendations to obtain the best possible results.

The condition of the substructure and its water permeability are the basis for a functioning floor system. Depending on the filling, load, and application, different types of ground reinforcement grids with different base layers are suitable for your project. Thanks to our more than 25 years of experience in the construction of unsealed surfaces, we recommend the following types of substructures for ECORASTER installation. Good preparation ensures optimum stability. Please note that the design and any deviations should always be based on the applicable RStO (German Road Construction Regulations).

Pre-greened: Install ECORASTER Green, use lawn roller to press on
DIY greened: SEMILIT (alt. mix 30 % gravel + 70 % humus + long-time fertilizer), elutriate seeding material

Fill with mineral substrate, sow seeds (mix of sand-thyme, mosses, sedum, mountain sweet grass, white clover).
