New member of the PURUS PLASTICS dual leadership team.
Richard Metzler succeeds Thomas Manzei and takes over the position of Managing Director of PURUS PLASTICS GmbH in Arzberg on July 1, 2023.
The Swiss native, who grew up in Munich, has known PURUS for years and appreciates the unique corporate culture. “We will build on, continue and expand,” says Metzler, who wants to expand PURUS through innovative growth and strengthen it in the face of increasing competition. For him, a clear and stringent customer and product focus is essential.
Waltraud Zeisel remains at his side as a member of the management board. While she primarily manages the commercial processes, Richard Metzler is responsible for the technical and sales areas.
“In times of increasing importance of recycling, CO2 and plastic waste, we are very pleased that we were able to win Mr. Metzler as our preferred candidate for PURUS,” says Thomas Manzei, who will continue to support PURUS in an advisory capacity after his departure.
As a graduate industrial engineer (FH), Metzler has more than 40 years of practical experience in various industries and possesses both extensive commercial knowledge and in-depth technical understanding of plastics processing.
