ECORASTER – permeable ground reinforcement

The alternative to concrete and asphalt.

ECORASTER is the ground reinforcement system for modern permeable surfaces!

The ECORASTER ground reinforcement system retains the natural water retention properties of the ground and creates highly durable surfaces, which can easily withstand car or truck traffic. As one of the most popular ground stabilization systems worldwide, ECORASTER has been impressing planers, communities and builders for more than 20 years.

However, a look at the wide range of floor grids shows that there is no standardized variant. Rather, the choice of suitable soil stabilization depends on several factors.

In order to fully benefit from the advantages offered by plastic ground grids and the like, it is therefore important to pay attention to certain details. This ensures that this particularly modern form of ground stabilization meets the high demands placed on it.

In which areas is ground reinforcement particularly worthwhile?

Why it pays to think long-term.

A reliable form of ground stabilization is used in various everyday areas. Regardless of whether, for example, it is about

  • on your own property
  • In connection with a public parking lot
  • in the residential area

To ensure a high level of driving and user comfort, a lawn grating of this type is characterized by numerous advantages due to its special properties.

This is reflected not only in the high visual standards, but also in the high quality of the products:

  • a reliable compressive strength
  • the protection of the topsoil underneath
  • the ability to access different material, such as sand
  • various options with regard to the height and length of the corresponding constructs
  • uncomplicated installation
  • time-saving care
  • convincing stability

.

What are the differences between the various ECORASTER® products?

To ensure that you always find exactly the right ECORASTER® to suit your requirements and the conditions on your property, you have the option of choosing between different variants.

In addition to classic basic data, such as the length or size of an ECORASTER®, the load-bearing capacity, wall thickness, type of edging and compressive strength also play a particularly important role. You can also choose between different types of filling.

In connection with ground grids, where the focus is primarily on the visual factor, it may be advisable to fill them with turf. However, if you are looking for a content that is particularly impressive due to its stability, among other things, you should opt for crushed stone or gravel.

This variant is characterized by a particularly high load-bearing capacity and corresponding compressive strength. High axle loads pose no problem here.
This type of ground reinforcement is therefore particularly suitable for parking and storage areas and the area around entrances and exits.

In short: the details of your ground reinforcement system should always be tailored to the type and frequency of use. This means that you benefit not only from impressive stability, but also from a long service life.

Important information on the substructure of your ground reinforcement

To ensure optimum water permeability in conjunction with a modern ground grid, an appropriate substructure is required. Its composition usually depends on the type of filling and the respective area of application or load.
