ECORASTER – the stabilization system for sloped surfaces.

Our A50 ground grid is ideal for reinforcing inclined surfaces, such as work paths or access roads on slopes. With a notch for the use of suitable pegs, surfaces can be securely and firmly attached to the slope. With over 200 expansion joints per m² and 36 connecting elements per m², the A50 counteracts the forces acting on the slope. Removal of topsoil and destruction of the soil surface are reduced.

By combining with the ECORASTER S50, the flexible curve pieces or the precisely fitting universal angle elements, the surfaces can be adapted to the shape of the terrain without breaking the stable bond. ECORASTERs can be placed on embankments, slopes and inclines like chain mail and provide the necessary support for the vegetation. Ideal for rainwater retention basins.

Installation on a slope

Depending on the requirements, a sufficiently thick substructure should be applied to the prepared subgrade as a base or leveling layer. The pre-laid grid panels are backfilled with suitable topsoil material or a mixture of sand with topsoil, humus and, for example, substrate containing starter fertilizer for greening, to a height of 5 cm (top edge of grid). The substructure and fill material should have a low proportion of fine material in order to achieve a certain water storage capacity for the vegetation and to ensure water permeability.
