ECORASTER – the stabilization system for sloped surfaces.

For the reinforcement of sloped surfaces such as pathways or access roads on a sloping site, we highly recommend our A50 ground reinforcement system. Thanks to an indentation for suitable ground nails, the system can be installed safely and securely in sloped terrain. With more than 200 expansion joints per square meter and 36 connection elements per square meter, the A50 is able to counteract the prevailing forces on the embankment. This leads to a reduction of topsoil erosion and preserves the ground surface.

With over 200 expansion joints per square meter and 36 connecting elements per square meter, the A50 counteracts the forces acting on the embankment and provides lasting stability. Removal of topsoil, destruction of the soil surface, for example, by channel-like depressions, nutrient removal, and linear erosion by runoff water are reduced.

By combining the ECORASTER S50, flexible curve pieces, or precisely fitting universal angle elements, the surfaces can be adapted to the terrain without disrupting the stable composite structure. Like chain mail, the ECORASTER can be laid on embankments, slopes, and inclines, providing the necessary support for vegetation. Ideal for rainwater retention basins and all forms of slope stabilization.

Installation on a slope

Depending on requirements and application, a sufficiently thick subbase should be applied to the prepared subgrade as a load-bearing or leveling layer. The finished grid panels are filled with suitable topsoil material or a mixture of sand with topsoil, humus, and, for example, substrate containing starter fertilizer for greening, to a height of 5 cm (top edge of grid). The subbase and backfill material should have a low proportion of fine material in order to achieve a certain water storage capacity for greening and to ensure water permeability.
