Project description
The aim of this project was to achieve a high load-bearing capacity and prevent individual soil elements from tilting. In addition, the surface was to be indistinguishable from a natural grass surface in the future, which is why greening played an important role.
The European Patent Office (EPO) is responsible for examining and granting patents in Europe. For its branch office in Munich in the Capitellum building, the EPO opted for the seal-free solution of ECORASTER floor grids to secure the fire department access road. The E50 grating, which can withstand axle loads of up to 20 tons in accordance with DIN 1072, was used.
