Green areas, whether with grass or sedum varieties, should be watered regularly. Surface sprinklers are often used, but these are increasingly being criticized because much of the water used evaporates unnecessarily.

With the ECORASTER® E40 V2, you can combine the benefits of permeable ground surfaces with those of subsurface irrigation. While rain can seep away where it falls, you get a stable surface free of puddles or ruts. During hot spells, the permeable surface helps counteract heat island effects. At campgrounds, for example, guests can use their campsites without getting wet themselves while the area is being irrigated. There’s also no need to set up sprinklers or hoses by hand, saving time and up to 40% water. If desired, irrigation can be controlled manually or via moisture sensors and an app. You have the choice: as a complete system with our expertise and that of our experienced irrigation partner, or for installing your own pipes.

Thanks to the individual design, shady areas or very sunny areas can be watered differently from each other.
