Save time and water with the ECORASTER TE40 V2

A lot of water is needed in equestrian sports, including for the footing. Without the correct moisture content, the riding surface cannot perform to its full potential.

Various systems are currently available for system operators, including mobile sprinklers, surface sprinklers and ebb and flow floors.

During irrigation “from above”, the area can only be used to a very limited extent at best. Moisture damage in the riding arena or damage to obstacles etc. due to surface irrigation is often unavoidable.

An ebb and flow floor can become increasingly in need of maintenance over the period of use, and leaks in the expensive foil seals cannot always be avoided.

The TE40 V2 is the newest addition to the ECORASTER® family. It is installed as usual as a separation layer in the riding arena, but features protected channels for drip tubes. This allows the surface layer to be irrigated from below, which is quick and saves up to 40% water.

If desired, irrigation can be controlled manually or using moisture sensors and an app.

You have the choice: as a complete system with the know-how of us and our experienced irrigation partner or for the installation of your own pipes.

Easy Installation: During installation, a geotextile is rolled out over the prepared subbase, and the drip tubes are laid on top of it as branch lines. The TE40 V2 panels are installed on top using the standard ECORASTER® installation method; care must be taken to ensure the drip tubes are routed correctly. For standard riding surfaces, one drip tube per ECORASTER® is sufficient, which corresponds to a spacing of approximately 333 mm. On uneven subgrades, where there is a risk that the drip tube could fall out of its guide, the precisely fitting clips can be used to provide extra support. After installation, the lines are connected and hooked up according to the plan. The TE40 V2 units are then filled with sand and covered with the wear layer. Capillary action draws the water upward and ensures even distribution.

By the way: Compared to the classic TE40, the TE40 V2 has a larger contact surface and is therefore also suitable for installation on poor, soft, or minimal subbase. Want to install it directly on the lawn without a subbase? Contact us.

Thanks to the individual design, shady areas or very sunny areas can be watered differently from each other.
