New member of the
PURUS PLASTICS co-leadership team.
Richard Metzler will succeed Thomas Manzei and assume the position of Managing Director of PURUS PLASTICS GmbH in Arzberg effective July 1, 2023.
A native of Switzerland who grew up in Munich, he has known PURUS for years and values its unique corporate culture. “We will build on, continue, and expand what we’ve achieved,” says Metzler, who aims to grow PURUS through innovation and strengthen the company to meet increasing competition. For him, a clear and rigorous focus on customers and products is essential to this effort.
Ms. Waltraud Zeisel remains at his side as a member of the management team. While she primarily oversees the commercial processes, Richard Metzler is responsible for the areas related to technology and sales.

As a graduate in industrial engineering (FH), Metzler has more than 40 years of practical experience across various industries and possesses both extensive business knowledge and a deep technical understanding of plastics processing.
